Why research matters:

At Gippsland CASA, our research and evaluation activities are all driven by a desire to constantly improve the services and support we offer. Research provides us with the evidence to:

  1. Identify and understand community attitudes about sexual assault
  2. Evaluate the services we provide
  3. Understand the needs of different people who use our service
  4. Identify areas for reform, and advocate for change on Local, State, and Federal levels
  5. Develop new programs and services to better address the needs of people in our community
