Why research matters:
At Gippsland CASA, our research and evaluation activities are all driven by a desire to constantly improve the services and support we offer. Research provides us with the evidence to:
- Identify and understand community attitudes about sexual assault
- Evaluate the services we provide
- Understand the needs of different people who use our service
- Identify areas for reform, and advocate for change on Local, State, and Federal levels
- Develop new programs and services to better address the needs of people in our community
